Assam: 17 dead in floods, landslides in 24 hours

Fourteen persons have died in flood and three others in landslides in Assam in the last 24 hours, which has taken the death toll to 62 (53 in flood, nine in landslides) in the last 36 days after the onset of this year’s rainy season in the state.
