’21 emissions set to rebound to pre-Covid levels: Study

Global carbon emissions in 2021 are set to rebound close to pre-Covid levels and a further rise next year cannot be ruled out if road transport and aviation return to pre-pandemic levels and coal use is stable, show the findings of the Global Carbon Project – a widely recognised international research project.
